I am a painter based in Taranaki on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand. I choose colours, textures and layers that are built up slowly to recreate an immersive and adventurous exploration of our wild landscape. I explore areas in nature that undergo extreme transitions on a daily or seasonal cycle, like beaches, mountains and ranges, that reflect our changes and journeys in life.
